Trade In Services and Policy 🎮

Interested in trading your games or consoles for store credit (or cash)?
Here’s how to start:

  1. Send us photos – Text us at 787-378-6549 or DM us on Facebook or Instagram.

    • Just a couple of clear photos will do!

    • For large stacks of games, snap them in rows or towers.

    • For consoles, include pictures of cables, boxes, wrapping, and accessories — these add value to your estimate.

  2. Get your estimate – Within 24 hours, we’ll send you a rough estimate of what we can offer in store credit or cash.

  3. Ship or drop off – Once you accept, you can drop items off or ship them to us.

  4. Get paid / get credit – Choose cash or store credit.

    • Store credit is added directly to your customer account so you can shop fast and easy.

    • Credit must be used within 30 days of receiving it.


Our Trade-In Policy

At Rickie Games we value transparency and trust in every trade-in. Here’s how it works:

Product Testing

  • Consoles, games, or other items that need testing go through a review process (up to 24 hours).

  • 50% of the estimated value is paid upfront at the time of delivery.

Test Results

  • If the item works as expected → you’ll receive the remaining 50% of the original estimate.

  • If the item does not perform as expected → we’ll send you a new adjusted estimate based on its actual condition.

Store Credit Policy

  • Store credit is added to your customer account once the trade is finalized.

  • It must be used within 30 days of issue.

Customer Response Time

  • Once you receive the new estimate, you’ll have 24 hours to respond.

  • If you decline, you can collect the item within 10 days at our office, or we can ship it back (shipping cost covered by you).

Negotiation Policy

  • Once a new estimate is issued and the 24-hour response period has expired, the offer is final.

  • This ensures fair, transparent, and efficient handling of every trade-in.

'Trade in A Distancia' / Trade-In by Mail Policy

When using our Trade-In by Mail service, customers are responsible for safely packaging and shipping their items to RickieGames. Please note that RickieGames is not liable for any packages that are lost, damaged, delayed, or misdelivered by the shipping carrier.

We strongly recommend that customers:

  • Purchase shipping insurance for the value of their items
  • Keep all tracking numbers and receipts until the trade-in is fully processed

By sending your items to us, you acknowledge and agree that RickieGames cannot assume financial responsibility or provide compensation for items that do not arrive due to carrier error or loss in transit.

When Items Become Property of RickieGames:

Trade-in items become the property of RickieGames only after:

  • The package is delivered
  • Items are tested, inspected, and verified, and the final trade-in payment is issued.

Until those steps occur, ownership remains with the customer.

RickieGames will make reasonable efforts to maintain communication regarding delayed, missing, or unscanned packages. However, trade-in payments can only be issued once the items arrive and are successfully inspected.
