Memory Card Gamecube

The Nintendo GameCube Memory Card is an essential accessory used to save game progress, settings, and other data for GameCube games. Since the GameCube did not have internal storage, all game saves were stored on memory cards inserted into one of the two available memory slots on the console.

Specifications & Storage Sizes

GameCube memory cards come in various capacities, measured in blocks:

• Official Nintendo Memory Cards:

  • Memory Card 59 → 4MB (59 blocks)

  • Memory Card 251 → 16MB (251 blocks)

  • Memory Card 1019 → 64MB (1,019 blocks)

• Third-Party Memory Cards:

  • Often available in 16MB, 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, and even 512MB.

  • Block counts vary but can range up to 8,192 blocks.

  • Some third-party cards use compression, which may lead to reliability issues.

Usage

• Insert the memory card into Slot A or Slot B on the GameCube console.

• Save game data from GameCube games directly to the card.

• Access and manage saved data via the Memory Card Manager in the system settings.

Reliability

• Official Nintendo memory cards are highly reliable and fully compatible.

• Third-party memory cards (e.g., Mad Catz, Nyko) may have more storage but can sometimes experience data corruption or loss.

• Frequent formatting or excessive rewriting may shorten the lifespan of the card.

It's the holiday season! From December 1st until January 7th, we will be offering refunds and/or exchanges within the first 30 DAYS of your delivery date! After 30 days have passed, the refund window will CLOSE, so make sure to submit your request as soon as you can!

Eligibility for Refunds/Exchanges: If your item(s) are new or sealed: The item(s) must be in the same condition that you received it, must show no visible signs of wear or use, and must be in its original packaging.

You'll need to provide your order number, receipt, or any other proof of purchase. Unfortunately, we can't offer refunds for new items that were opened or unsealed after purchase. However, we can offer exchanges/store credit! Swap your item for another that is at the same price point or request store credit! We'll put the money from your return into your account for the next time you want to shop. :)

If your item(s) are pre-owned or unsealed: The item(s) must be in the same condition that you received it, must show no visible signs of wear or use, and must be in its original packaging. You also need to provide your order number, receipt, or any other proof of purchase. You must specify whether or not you would like a full refund, exchange, or store credit in your request.
